Pages From The Past, 09-08-1995: Sunday Funnies: Remember when we all worked in offices and newspapers were widely read ... that's rhetorical, of course, no question mark needed. Here's a page from my days at the now departed Contra Costa Times. Enjoy!

Sunday Sermon, 02-07-2021
This poem presented itself yesterday afternoon as I listened to jazz on KCSM-FM. It is obviously influenced by past and recent browsing and pondering of various Buddhist and Tao texts. The art was done on canvasboard with brush pens in 1991, likely copied from some Chinese master's work. I'm sorry to say I can't recall whose. When I finished the poem I thought "Ah-ha! A perfect pairing!" This is what I was able to produce with my primitive technological skills. I hope you like the result. Peace, love and heath to all sentient beings.

This is an attempt to combine some imagery with a poem from my 2018 book "Till We Have Faces," available at Amazon. I hope you enjoy it!
